Jesus Touches the Untouchable and Heals the Hopeless, pt.2

In Luke 5:17-26, religious authorities attend one of Jesus' meetings in order to investigate him. In the middle of the meeting a group of ordinary people go to extraordinary lengths to bring their paralyzed friend's plight before Jesus. Jesus shocks the crowd by telling the man that his sins are forgiven, essentially claiming a power reserved for God alone. The religious authorities are ready to condemn Jesus for blasphemy, but what he does next leaves them speechless and amazes the onlookers. When you are confronted by the claims of Jesus, how will you respond: in fear or faith?
