A Glimpse of Things to Come (Luke 9:28-26)

A little hope is a powerful thing! People can endure a lot when they have assurance that there is a payoff at the end of their struggle. After Jesus revealed to his disciples the stark demands of what it means to follow him, some of the disciples were privileged to receive a preview of Jesus in his future glory. This experience also served to affirm once again the Jesus is God's Son, the chosen savior, and the only way to approach God.
