How to Handle Rejection (Luke 9:51-56)

Rejection is a fact of life. Rejection can leave us with dashed hopes and broken dreams, or it can leave us angry, frustrated, and bitter. The fear of rejection can chain us in a prison of fear, preventing us from making the most of opportunities we encounter in life. Jesus himself was no stranger to rejection. In this vignette from Luke's gospel, we see one way that Jesus expects his followers to handle rejection.
