The Trees of the Field – March 9, 2012 Radio Show

Listen as Pastors Erik and Jennifer perform a radio version of this week’s Lenten Drama skit, “The Trees of the Field.” The story takes us to the period of Exile and Isaiah’s telling of the pain and suffering of his people being transplanted and held captive in Babylon. The talking tree Isaiah encounters is tired of the songs of lament sung by Isaiah’s people but she understands their sadness after Isaiah explains that they feel abandoned by God. All Lenten Dramas this year are written by Pastor Jennifer.
